As the CEO & Founder of G.O.A.T.S., Kori envisions building an inclusive, supportive environment where everyone has access to the resources needed for personal growth. She is dedicated to fostering a community focused on empowerment, resilience, and collaboration—helping individuals overcome obstacles to reach their full potential. By nurturing a space of learning, compassion, and leadership, she believes G.O.A.T.S. can create a brighter, more promising future.
Det. Jameka Sherrod
Co-Founder
Jameka is a Detective with the Chicago Police Department, specializing in criminal sexual assault cases. With 19 years of service, she has led youth workshops on violence prevention and school safety across Chicagoland, as well as with the S.I.M.P. Program. Jameka is excited to join G.O.A.T.S. and contribute to empowering youth to be part of the change she wants to see in the community.
Cassandra Jarnot
Cassandra Jarnot is a medical coder with 14 years of experience and has an Associate’s degree in Health Administration. She is passionate about supporting the healthcare system and giving back to her community through years of volunteering. Cassandra is dedicated to mentoring youth, helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential. She is excited to work with Girls on Arise to Succeed II and contribute to empowering the next generation of leaders.
Ja’Kora Carter
Kora is a sophomore at the University of Minnesota, studying Psychology and Public Health. She is excited to be part of G.O.A.T.S because she believes in its mission to empower young people. With experience in mentorship and presenting on college readiness at multiple schools, Kora is committed to making a positive impact. Currently, she volunteers at a hospital and works at a nursing home, furthering her dedication to community service.
Kenika Aldridge
Kenika has dedicated 19 years of service to Chicago Public Schools as an educator, with a strong passion for fostering student growth and academic achievement. Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated a commitment to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students. Kenika is excited to contribute to the continued growth of this organization and looks forward to the impactful work that will emerge.
Dr. Alicia Fischer
For 25 years, she has dedicated her professional life to working with students, families, and staff to create positive outcomes for young people. Principal Fischer has served in several educational roles: high school teacher, student counsel advisor, softball coach, instructional coach, assistant principal, and lead principal for four years in St. Cloud MN. Alicia is excited to be part of an organization that understands the needs of youth and fosters a culture of acceptance.
